There is a reason that luxury is at the top of many traveller’s lists when selecting a holiday destination. Life is busy, stress is ever-increasing and most people have a short amount of time for that all-important decompression period that we just need for our sanity.
When I arrived in Hu’u Villas Seminyak, it was a pleasant surprise for me. The magic of this place is how quickly you can feel at home here. You can literally feel the tension withdrawn from your shoulders soon after arriving.
The villa is immaculately presented with modern fittings. Location is fantastic with many restaurants within walking distance to the villa. It’s very close from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak area and the beach are also within 10 minutes walking distance but you wouldn’t even know, as it is very quiet and tranquil.
Upon arrival, I was served a complimentary Lychee Martini as the welcome drink at Hu’u Bar while the front office staff was checking on my room. That was a pleasant surprise. I have never come across a resort or hotel that served alcohol as their welcome drink. A big thumbs up for such a good idea. The check-in was efficient and reasonably fast while sipping away on the martini.
Wow!! When I first walked into my villa I was stunned!! I stayed in the 2-bedroom villa and honestly, I didn’t want to leave!! It was spacious and very well equipped. The villa has large and comfortable bed, music dock, tablet and wifi and everything was amazing. The attention to detail was what made it for me and the staff’s friendliness ultimately sold me. What you see in their pictures is what you get!
The villas are designed with the party in mind. Everything here is geared towards having fun and partying in a stylish, tropical, modern villa. All windows are double glazed to protect your serenity once you decide the night is done. Fear not you can’t hear the music in your villa because they have all been soundproofed. Despite the high ceilings there is no echo.The ten villas are positioned in a row and the gardens have connecting doors so you can open up to the neighbors’ or into one big long party corridor. How cool is that?
There was plenty of room in the dressing area for all my suitcases – and for once lots of hangers for my clothes too!
The highlight of the room was no doubt the shower, which featured double sinks and a massive shower with enclosed bathtub. While I usually prefer enclosed showers, in this case the shower was impressive enough so that it wasn’t even a negative.
The villa is well-equipped villa with clean pool and good amenities. Quiet, private, modern chic what more could anyone ask for!
Hu’u Villas Seminyak is a perfect heaven for couples to spend quality time together in private. You can chill in the private villa pool during the evenings. To be honest, I loved my private pool with a perfect depth of 1.5m. The pool area got sun from around 10ish – 3ish and they have positioned the sun lounges to take advantage of this sun. And the pool was a good temperature too.
I love it that they turned down the room each evening. The evening turn down service is amazing – they literally zip all around the villa in a flash and leave you slippers, fresh bottles of water and chocolates.
They also have a happy hour for all in house guests. Hu’u happy hour includes a complimentary cocktail and canapés, which you can have in BABA restaurant/bar.
I had my dinner in BABA, and I really loved their Laksa and Chicken Rice. It was yummy.
The daily breakfasts was good and I had no complains at all. And it’s pretty good where they served your breakfast in house. I had my breakfast after my swimming session in the morning. WOW, it’s refreshing. And they served Western and Asian breakfast.
What to say other than these villas have raised the bar in Seminyak sky high? I’ve been lucky enough to spend 1 night here and it has been simply fantastic! Rully, the Resort Manager and his colleagues from Hu’u Villas Seminyak have done really well to ensure my stay was made comfortable and enjoyable. I am very impressed with the genuine and sincere service from every staff who attended to me.
