Bali is obviously enjoyable for many reason, but primarily because of the hustle and bustle and culture. Well, all that can get a bit much after a day so it was so nice to go to this wonderful hotel and be away from it all just enough so that we were close enough to the action, but far enough away from the noise!
I stayed at Centra Taum for 1 night and the resort surprised me since I found the environment was green and it was a great ambience! The hotel sits within stylish buildings that have been influenced by modern and ancient Bali, and are set out like a local village.
The Centra Taum Seminyak located in the heart of Seminyak, which is famed for its activities and its nightlife options. The resort’s beaches are within walking distance. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere despite its central location.
On arrival staff were really warm and welcoming, and this continued throughout the whole trip with staff making you feeling welcome every time you return back from a day out. I was told what to expect from the hotel and was taken to my room. The hotel is set in a very peaceful and tranquil location. Calm Balinese music in the background, it sets the tone for the holiday.
Centra’s first hotel in Bali has recently opened to offer you very comfortable studio or suite accommodation in a great location. All their studios and suites are spacious, light and airy, featuring private balconies with double day beds on which to while away the hours. I personally think that it has a nice concept of juxtaposed boxes/rooms.
And although i had the basic studio, it was everything I needed; lovely big bathroom and fridge. There is also a handy kitchenette and electric hob for creating breakfast and light meals. There’s a nice outside area to lounge around outside the room too.
Outside is the swimming pool complete with shallow section for the children to splash about in. The swimming pool stretches across a sun terrace that is scattered with chic loungers and parasols. The poolside restaurant serves cuisine the whole family will love, including favorite international dishes alongside delicious Thai and Indonesian specialties. For refreshment during the day, the poolside bar boasts a wide choice of fresh fruit juices, cocktails and wines. And you can carry on swimming on a beautiful warm night until 9pm.
If you want to enjoy some exercise during your stay you can head to the hotel’s modern gym, which is fitted with the latest cardio and strength equipment. You can also arrange a number of activities and excursions from the hotel, from bicycle hire and hiking to rafting and elephant safaris.
Breakfast was delicious with a good choice including fruit, cereal, cooked breakfast, toast and pastries- something for everyone.
There is a shuttle service that runs three times a day to the beach and Seminyak square which was good for the guest.
I absolutely loved my stay here. A great value hotel with everything you need to hand, it’s the perfect base for exploring your wonderful surrounds.
